Club News

26/05/2008 - Its been a while, but all i'm going to report on here is that Hilltop FC were crowned champions of division one. They also finished runners up in the divisional cup and look forward to next season in premier 2. See end of season report for more info. Also League presentation is on the 9th of June. All players wishing to attend need to contact me asap, as only a limited number can attend!

27/11/2007 - With not much to report over the Christmas period, Hilltop did sign Nuneaton Griff and Stockingford Sports starlet Paul Harrison. The central midfielder joins the ranks and gives the revolution the added strength in depth. Also Jon Robins move to PNW Athletico looks set to be put on ice until at least the end of the season after he excelled in a recent win over Attleborough Mills. The strong defender comes in after injury and at a time when long term injuries to Brindley and Underhill will almost certainly keep them out for the remainder of the season.

Also Danny Armiger and Adam Richardson kept there thriving goalscoring partnership going, with Armiger notching his 17th league goal of the season, and his 24th in total, with Richardson beating his tally of last season already with his 15th league goal. Also worth nothing that wingers Jimmy Elliott and Charles Andoh, along with defender Ashley Wilks have weighed in with an excellent double figures.

The reserve team have also had Scott Roberts bag his first brace for the club and take his tally to 4, and in his first real season as a starter hopes to build on this and his training performances and give the reserves the goals they badly need

05/11/2007 - Update - Finally an update and its a long one! All teams will be kicking off this sunday at 11pm due to rememberence sunday, so show your respect lads!

Also Hilltop first team have had a fixture change with the game against Ansely social being changed to another away fixture against Coton Liberals. With a 5-0 win behind us, we now have discovered a bit of momentum after defeats against a very lucky Cricks side and in the Birmingham Cup.

The Reserves - After a run of defeats that have seen them slip alarmingly down the table of late, they need a big win on sunday against a strong Black Horse Sports side. With players coming back from Injury and new signings now available, i expect the reserves to be even stronger!

Also worth Noting that Hilltop first team have now gone a massive 21 league games without dropping a point, hopefully that will continue over the coming weeks - congrats boys!

5/09/2007 - First Team News - Warmington doubtful for sundays opening fixture against Anker FC, but Denzil Richards has been cleared to play by the league after paying off his fine. Chris Neale, Martin Avery and James Tallentine all look set to make there debuts.

3/09/2007 - Chris Neale Signs for Hilltop FC - Hilltop Fc captured the signature of one of the towns finest left boots when he decided to join the club from Attleborough Mills. Neale brings a massive amount of experience to a young side. With New signingsDanny Armiger, Jimmy Elliott, Denzil Richards, Martin Avery, James Tallentine, Wayne Beaumont, Liam Dunn, Andy Hammersly, Siddartha Gurung, Scott Roberts, John Lamb and John O'Neil all joining the Hilltop fold, next season looks to be more exciting than ever

3/09/2007 - Reserves End Chapel Hopes - Hilltop Reserves got off to a flier on the opening day with a 3-0 win over promoted Chapel End Salutation. With Rosy and Rv resisting temptation to field a number of first teamers they in the end decided to play just 3. Armiger opened his account on his competitive debut with a well taken brace.

3/09/2007 - Hilltop FC today launch the brand new kit bought and paid for Marstons Brewery. In conjunction with the fox, Marstons have supplied two kits for the first and reserve side for this coming season. Our thanks go to them for there kind generosity.
